Be. Winery Be. Flirty Wine Review

Be. Winery Be. Flirty Wine Review

So, in my spare time, I am a Bzz Agent.  For those of you who don't know what that is, the short version is I test products, services, etc., share my honest opinion, and create bzz around said products/services.

My newest assignment - testing wine!  And not just any wine.  Be. Wine.  You get to pick your wine according to your mood.  How awesome is that?  So when I got my nifty little Bzz Kit in the mail the other day, I set out and took the Be. Wines Quiz.

And my results were...drumroll please...

You're feeling flirty!

In case you're curious, my answers to the quiz are as follows:  1) B - Jungle Cat (Hey, I can harness my inner cheetah). 2) C - Live music and a beachside sunset (Because, to me, there is no greater place on earth than the beach with my toes in the water...)  3) A - Smile and enjoy the silence (I love quiet time!)  4) B - Kisses (Because a girl can never have enough kisses or hugs).  So, the B's have it in an overwhelming landside of 2.  Well, ok...maybe it wasn't a runaway victory.

Be. Flirty wine is a Pink Moscato described as being  "mischievous...with rich berry and delicate floral notes."  Now this is a wine I think I will like.  Hey, anything described as being mischievous has to be good, right?  By the way, does anyone else think of Denis the Menace when they hear the word mischievous?  Ok, just me.

I have to admit that I'm not an avid drinker.  I drink maybe 1 drink a month.  I like white or blush wines, but steer clear or red wines.  Beer is ok.  My favorite drink is a Margarita on the rocks with salt!  There is just something about that tequila laced tangy/sweet/salty mix that I can't get enough of.  Oh, but don't worry, there will be no clothes falling off here.  I'll have to share my favorite skinny margarita with you soon.

Ok, so back to the BZZ.  So I got a mail in rebate for $5 off one bottle or $10 off two bottles.  I opted for just one bottle.  If the mood hits, I'll go get a second.  I headed to my nearest grocery store that supplies Be. Wines which happens to be Kroger and picked up a beautiful bottle of Be. Flirty.  See, isn't it just the cutest.

I put the wine in the fridge to chill for the rest of the day so that it would be ready by that night.  Later, I changed into something a little more comfortable, put on some Pandora radio, grabbed a Sophie Kinsella book, got my favorite wine glass out, and am about to enjoy a nice glass of wine when it dawns on me.  I do not own a corkscrew anymore!  {My ex kept it in the divorce.}  I try pulling it out with a knife, fork, and even a strange looking spiral hand mixer attachment and nothing.  Nada.  Zilch.  Oh my!  This wine is calling my name.  This isn't fair.  The closest store is 20 minutes away and there is no way I'm changing out of my comfy pjs to go out in the rain.  Looks like I'll be trying it tomorrow.

So tomorrow comes, and I've bought a new corkscrew.  I had a lot of difficulty getting the cork out.  Don't know if it was just me, but seriously, I spent over 15 minutes trying to pry that sucker out.  I poured myself a glass...and enjoyed it I did.

Be. Flirty smells slightly fruity and is light pink in color.  It has a slightly sweet taste with a hint of fruit.  It was not as smooth as I was hoping it would be...it had that strong alcoholic burn on the way down.  (Don't know if that's because I should have let it decant before drinking or if it's because I'm not an avid drinker.)

It would be perfect to serve at a wedding shower, dinner party, date night, or to enjoy by yourself while enjoying a nice evening at home.  I usually grab a glass while I'm getting my blog posts ready.  I've almost gone through the entire bottle.

The cost is between $8.99-$12.99. Pretty reasonable for a nice bottle of wine if you ask me. I paid $8.99 at my local Kroger, minus my $5.00 rebate that I will be receiving from Be. Winery.  I would buy it again as it is one of the better wines I've tried.

I give Be. Winery's Be. Flirty Pink Moscato:
4 out of 5 Hearts
